Everybody is different, but I strive for 50g of carbs before, and at least the same after. What are your goals?

there are many post-workout macro formulas out there. I go with about .8g per kg lean body mass carbs and .4g per kg lean body mass protein

I still think that calculations should be figured on LBM not what the scales says. When did BF need carbs and protein??

Which carbs do you prefer in your PW shake(meal) - dextrose, maltodextrine, waxy maize, or just oats or...?

calm down. I haven't seen anything yet on any of the websites that talks about the difference between 50 and 90. Have you? We are both looking for science, correct?

Now you said your goal is cutting, correct? I cannot find any tissue studies that show a difference in insulin spike between varying levels. What I do know is that carbs and protein together create a better insulin spike, and I did read a scientific journal stating that even a 6g protein, 36g carb drink after an endurance workout spikes insulin by about 400%. Is there a difference between 50 and 90? I dont know. Maybe when you're cutting there is, that's what it seems we are talking about. I am on week 3 of my diet right now, and I have gained LBM with a 50/50 pwo drink. Let's discuss, don't throw up walls just because I ask for scientific studies- I don't need them to believe something, they usually prove useful though.
