You can make your own Whole Wheat bread crumbs if you really wanted too. But I don't see any point to it, IMO. Just don't over due the bread crumbs and bake the chicken rather than pan fry. You loose a bit of the crispiness that comes from pan frying it, but its a healthy alternative.

    Anyone else have any ideas?

i use the bread crumbs that already has the seasons in it,i just pound the breast until about 1/4 inch thick maybe a little thicker lightly roll in crumbs and bake, take out of oven spoon on sauce and add a little 2% cheese place back in for 8-10 minutes.

thanks for the help guys. Do you normally dip the chicken in egg/egg beaters before putting them in the bread crumbs? Im going to eat this every day for one of my meals with whole grain pasta so hopefully the bread crumbs won't add too much unwanted weight. Im bulking but I still like to keep my diet as clean as possible.

I do the egg white dip so the crumbs can stick, but I also eat several eggs a day for the protein so this is no biggie for me.

i just roll the chkn breast in the bread crumbs and let whatever moisture is on the breast pick up the crumbs no egg dip here, like i said i just lightly coat the breast a 1/4 cup is a serving and has something like 1-2g of fat and 18-20 carbs and you are not going to get a 1/4 cup per breast unless you are trying to pack it on thick.
