Help with Cutting Diet revision: Post Surgery

Well, I just got out of having gyne surgery last Thursday. Everything went perfect and needless to say I will be out of the gym for 5-6 weeks.

Everything has been working great with my current diet. I've been seeing great results with some exponential gains along the months past as well.

Now...I need to modify my diet to where my body won't completely collapse on itself and eat all my muscle away. I know 5-6 weeks won't KILL me, but still; all I can do is WALK for a good while.

Here is my cutting diet I have been on consistently for the last 2 months, and has really worked:

8:30 AM: 2 (50g) scoops ON whey, 1 TBSP PB, ½ cup of oats.

10:30 AM: 5 oz chicken or steak, 2-3 cups of spinach, 1 cup broccoli, 1 TBSP Olive oil

12:30 PM: 50g ON whey, 1 TBSP organic, natural PB

2:30 PM: 5 oz chicken or steak, 2-3 cups of spinach, 1/2 cup oats or Ezekiel bread

4:30 PM: (pre-workout): 50g ON whey, 1 ban, 1 TBSP organic natural PB, ½ cup Oats or Ezekiel bread

    5:00 PM: WORKOUT

IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING WORKOUT: 1 SCOOP WHEY

7:30 PM: 6 oz chicken or steak, ½ to 1 cup of organic applesauce, 2-3 cups spinach

What should I change, add or subtract to keep myself from losing the least about of muscle and strength. I understand I may lose some, but my goal is to minimalize all loss (except fat) as much as possible.

Are you saying I shouldn't need carbs?

Anyone got any advice or should I just continue to do what I'm doing?

I talked to MuscleScience about this, and he suggested I up my carbs so that when my body starts to realize I'm not working out hard anymore, it won't eat at the muscle so fast...

If it ain't broke, don't fix it... A few additional carbs might help you out, but ease into them gradually

    Great!

    Thanks for the help fellas.

I think I'm just going to add carbs (just a couple of extra half cups of oats) and cut one of my protein shakes out.

I'm not being completely lazy. I walk for about an hour and a half everyday, so at least I'm "moving" for some exercise.
