Is this a good diet????Plz Help

    Hi guys,

After plenty of web browsing on diets etc I have come up with this, is this a good diet for bulking and also reduce bodyfat (currently 20%)

    My Stats are:

    Age: 28
    Height: 5' 11"
    Weight: 175lbs
    BF: 20%

I will be training 3 times a week.

All help and suggestions will be kindly appreciated.

    5.00AM
6 egg whites scrambled on 1 slice of toast
    1/2 Pint Tropicana Orange Juice

    7.00AM
    Whey Protein Shake

    10.00AM
    2 slices of wholemeal bread
    100g Grilled Chicken breast
    Tomatoes/lettuce to taste
    Small handful of nuts (pistachios)

    1.00PM
    100g Wholemeal pasta
    100g Boiled Chicken breast
    Small handful of nuts (pistachios)

    3.30PM
    2 slices of wholemeal bread
    Tuna
    Tomatoes/lettuce to taste

    5.00PM (pre workout)
    Whey Protein Shake
    Small wholemeal Tuna Roll

    7.00PM - 9.00PM (Work-Out)

    9PM (post workout)
    Whey Protein Shake
Either 60g dextrose or 100g ultra fine oats (from myprotein.co.uk)

    10PM (Pre bed)

I calculated your Total Daily Energy Expenditure at around 2400 calories a day. If the total calories are around 2000 then you can lose weight. Post is pretty much useless until you know how many calories you are eating.

As far as food choices and timing there is some work to be done as well. Don't ever use dextrose. Cottage cheese before bed was good suggestion. No more than 2 shakes a day. What are the shakes? You could eat one whole egg with meal one with the egg whites. I will stop there because none of that really matters if you are eating 3000+ calories a day.

He wants to run a lean bulker, so he will still need slightly over maintenance cals, but cardio needs to be increased... Like everyone else said though, macros are needed here or at least portion sizes...
