    How bad is Alcohol really?

I have been snooping around the internet and have found that distilled spirits aren't really as bad as I thought they were. Other than being high in calories and a diuretic, they don't spike insulin. They have little effect on blood sugar levels. One study showed that among female twins, body fat actually decreases with increasing alcohol consumption. Am I reading this stuff right?

    red wine

There have been tests on certain or even most drinks and the graph showed that 1 drink ie 250ml of wine or 1 pint actualy increases test production its after or during ur second that it drops dramaticly, but if ur on the juice it can also increase estrogen and thats something u dont wont to much of, drink can dehydrate u thus drawing water out of ur muscle then in turn making u look smaller so at that point in moderation its ok ......but best not to at all due to the fact that if u have 1 then ull prob wont another and then another until ur smashed so yes its ok but if u can go without then u might as well i have 2-3 glasses of red wine a week while on the juice and then 6-8 week when im not so its really upto u bud hope this helps!

your body will attempt to metabolize alcohol first, so cardio definitely will help your system get back to normal quicker.

Over the weekend, I had to many vodka redbulls, first time drinking in awhile. Felt like crap the whole next day.

I can't look one of my boys in the eye and tell them i'm to serious to have a drink. I don't drink alot, so I think i'll be alright.

i partied saturday morning and did lefts that afternoon, not a good idea, but i got through it, didn't drink much at the party, but it still didn't help my energy levels, lost some strength and my lactic acid threshold suffered

I'll bet, I worked out buzzed once, well like a 6 pack after work with some co workers, then thought hey I gotta hit the gym. It makes you weak as hell, no wonder the sober guy always wins the fight.
