personally I would have carbs in the morning and also an hour or two before your workout - sweet potato, little pasta, oats - something slow release so it will kick in when you hit the gym. Also in your shake have dextrose/maltodextrose (simple carbs) and then have carbs with your main meal. Just lower the carbs you have with your meal but still have them.

Although lowering carbs will help you cut up - they are not the enemy - you still need them for energy.

Just my opinion of course - i'm not a pro - other will probably give you better advice

You can go low carb for around 3 days in a row but you will need to follow this with a refeed day.

Low carb day - 50g low GI carb for breakfast, pre workout, and pwo
Refeed day - 50g low GI carb with every meal except last meal. Adding a small piece of low GI fruit to every meal is preferred.

Low GI carbs: Oats, brown rice, sweet potato, black beans
