Dieting, Need some advice. Serious post
Okay,
First off i'll start with a little details about myself
19 yrs young
6'3
245
Bench max= 405
Squat max= 560
Not too sure about body fat percentage, but i dont have an 8 pack if that helps lol.
I play football for a small school and looking to go D1 in the next year or so, and i'm switching positions from Defensive end to Linebacker so i'm looking to trim off a little body fat to help with my speed and endurance.
Right now were progressing into spring ball and we have football training which consists of mild - hard running and drills and an hour of weight lifting in the mornings from 7am - 9am.
Throughout the day im eating or comsuming some sort of food every 2 - 2.5 hours.
Here's an example of a regular day..
6:30am -
whey protein shake:
2 scoops @ 24g protein with 10oz of 2% milk.
Practice 7am - 9am
9:30am -
Breakfast:
4 scrambled eggs, 3 hard boiled eggs (just the white)
hashbrowns, 16oz 100% orange juice.
11:30am -
Meal Replacement:
2 Scoops protein @ 24g protein with 10oz of 2% milk.
1:45pm -
Lunch:
2 chicken breast sandwiches and a tuna sandwich.
4:00pm -
Meal replacement:
2 Scoops protein @ 24g protein with 10oz of 2% milk.
5:00pm -
Training:
I am in MMA boxing in a local gym, I just started. Its new to me because i'm used to just lifting heavy all day every day. I train there and lift weights for about 2 hours a day.
7:30pm -
Dinner:
2 chicken breast sandwiches and a tuna sandwich and a salad.
10:30pm -
Meal replacement:
2 Scoops protein @ 24g protein with 10oz of 2% milk.
Then I start all over and do it monday - friday.
I just started eating this way about 4 days ago, and I wanted to get some advice about it and want to kno if this is what i should be doing to loose some body fat and not necessarily loose too much muscle. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In my opinion you need to take in some real food for those protein shakes..and you need more carbs in your wake up meal

I agree. Real food will really help. Shakes cant be your diet. Eat meats instead. Also use water in you shakes not 2% it will help some too

I would change the shakes to egg whites except for pwo. cottage cheese before you goto bed. If you cant do the cottage cheese then go with a caesin protein shake instead..
