    Tablespoons & Tablespoons

Ok, i've wanted to know this forever. Does it mean whatever you're using needs to be rounded with the spoon?

Edit* I meant for the title to say Tablespoons & teaspoons btw lol

    really?

    in reference to what?

unless you're baking and need to be precise, a teaspoon is a teaspoon, dude.

i'd hate to think that you just lift what's on the spoon and thinking i'm only getting a teaspoon of sugarfree jelly on my oats which has 5g carbs, and i'm really putting in like 4.

Should shit like that be rounded/flat with the spoon?

If the volume is that critical (i.e. supplements) I would find out the weight needed and weigh it out. That's how I do my protein, glutamine peptides, creatine, etc. I/my wife usually weigh out enough for a week at the time and put it in small resealable containers.

oh, well, you'll get a precise measurement from those actual teaspoons...like those kitchen-aid ones, not the silver ones in your drawer.

Yes, see that's what I mean. I always get caught up thinking 'should it be heaping or just flat'. That is a good idea. I need to get a better scale, i have a cheap one that reads ounces just just for food.

However I wouldn't overthink it. If it's just for condiments, etc. then a measuring spoon set as mentioned above would be perfect. Most of them have a reference line on the inside that gives you an idea of how much should be measured.
