planning to start cutting from the middle of febuary - not my favourite thing, and I'm no expert to say the least
Currently around 230lbs,
meal 1 - 6 egg whites / 1/2 cup oats
meal 2 - protein shake / 2tbsp flax
meal 3 - brocoli / chicken breast
Workout / cardio (on non lifting days)
Meal 4 - Post workout - just a whey shake (not sure about carbs for this - in the how to cut thread rambo mentions carbs pwo)
Meal 5 ; Chicken breast, mixed veg
Meal 6 - shake
I am a bit unsure about the diet though to be honest, i read the unofficial diet thread by rambo..and im not sure on carbs
what do i do about pre workout, I would normally have oats + whey , do I skip this now as it's a cutting diet?
also in his post he mentions the PWO shake being the source of most the carbs when cutting - so you can still have dextrose here, this wont affect the cutting
My routine:
Day 1 - chest/tris
day 2 - delts/bis
day 3 - cardio/abs
day 4 - back/traps
day 5- legs
day 6 - cardio/abs
day 7 - repeat (chest/tris)
What I am wondering about with this is, should I add cardio in AFTER I have lifted? As I will be cutting and not bulking? Although i have always read that this burns up muscle?!
I would do cardio in the AM and lift in the PM - BUT i work nights, I come home 7am, sleep get up 2pm, go to the gym at 6pm ... going to the gym to do cardio after I finish work would be a bad idea wouldn't it
