Mustard, salsa, tobasco or worcheshire. I am sure there is more I didn't think of right now.
Not ketchup though.
looks like mustard is my new best friend..and is about to be thrown on everything..haha thanks man
ketchup is mostly corn syrup so its too much high GI extra sugar...stay away
Agreed on the ketchup.
As far as most condiments, yes they're high in sodium. yes they should be limited or eliminated in a perfect diet.
But if eating some helps you stick to eating good foods and continuing successfully with your goals, then by all means go for it.
If after a while, you notice that your results start to slip, then that might be something to look at. But condiments will not make or break your diet.
Good thread guys. Helps keep it all in perspective. I find it very difficult to eat bare chicken breasts day in and out.
heinz makes a 1g of carb ketchup that is pretty good, personally i like a mixture of light miracle whip and chipotle tabasco sauce
i will have to look into it..thanks guys!
balsamic vinegar is one on the top of my list...plus all kinds of hot sauces...green Tabasco is also a good one.
