Keto and AAS
Hi everyone.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I NEED carbs when using AAS?
I've been doing CKD for some time now and like it a lot. but about to start a cycle and don't want to keep doing CKD if it makes a big difference for gains and strength.

You don't NEED carbs when using AAS. But they CAN be a very effective tool when bulking and even cutting if you know how to correctly implement them.
What would your goals be during your cycle? The ketogenic diet is most often used for cutting in which case you would be in a caloric deficit. Not the ideal state for BUILDING muscle and Gaining strength. If you are trying to grow, it can be done while on keto, but I would suggest utilizing carbs, for recovery as well as the energy source you will need for both high volume and high intensity training.
