    bulking advice

    hi im looking to bulk.

    my stats are;
    26 years old
    25% bf
    245 pounds
training for 12 years but not consistantly

the trouble is im a truck driver and im up at 3:30 doing multi drop deliveries
    so im quite busy.

i used to just eat sandwiches(ham, turkey) and 6 pieces of fruit.

now i have a weight shake when i get up 500 cals, 40g protein, and 50g carbs.i cook up some wholewheat pasta, 2 tins of tuna and mixed beans, thrown it all in a tub and munched on it through the day along with a couple hand full of mixed nuts, 3 cereal bars and the fruit.
    this is eaten before 3pm.

    i have a balanced dinner around 430pm

preworkout ill have a banana, cereal bar and whey shake.

evening can be difficult, i train at 7 till 8 and then have couple of chicken breasts, baked potato and mixed veg and a weight shake.

    bed at 9.

can anybody help with this and tell me if im eating the right foods at the right times?

im not wanting to lose any weight as im bulking and wanting to get into powerlifting.

Not the best way to bulk, and at 25% bodyfat, you should be thinking on getting that down a bit.

The best way to bulk is to eat WHOLE foods more and shakes and bars less. You have to work around what you can so. Try to eat every two hours.

if you have a day off from driving, that is your cooking day, cook tons of chicken and sweet potatoes, brown rice up and store them in containers and pack a cooler for your truck to take with you.

check out the bulking diet threads in this section and see where you can change a few things to eat better foods

Try to stay away from sandwiches and processed meats as they contain high sodium and other preservatives.

    hope this helps

I believe most powerlifters these days are well under 25% BF.
