    Need discipline!!!!!

    So I was dieting beautifully from jan 1st till this last week, where I broke down and binge ate for like 6 days. How badly did I halt my progress and is there any hope???

    Did you get fat? If you didn't gain no fat or lose any muscle, you will be ok. It takes a lot of bad eating over time to get in a place that you don't want to be.

    What do you consider fat? My normal body fat % is around 8.5%, and now I'm at like 11.

    Well I eat very clean, but not so clean that I won't enjoy things like white rice, regular potatoes, and the occasional high fat food. Your BF is low if its 11% so unless it's really in your heart to get leaner, you can probably keep doing what you are doing for awhile and get away with it. I wouldn't not enjoy life and eating, unless you have a specific goal in mind. Believe me, eating chicken breasts, red potatoes, sweet potatoes and all that and such gets old! Plus if your diet is really strict you can't go out and eat anywhere, and most likely can not eat at friends. I didn't eat at my mother's for 3 months when I was on my last cycle, and I don't think that she understood, and it hurt her feelings a bit. As with everything, do it in moderation!

    It's hard sometimes.
    I tend to think of it like, instead of enjoying eating whatever and whenever, I'm enjoying watchiing my body change into what I want it to be. You can get hooked on that just as easily as being hooked on eating like crap.

    If you normally walk around at 8.5% you are not crossing the line that often.

    haha sounds like you kinda snapped buddy,6 days, but bump what fireguy said if 8.5 you are staying consistant most the time, if at 11 now you good, if you want to get back to 8.5 it wont take you no time,im sure we all have our temptations i know i do but seeing the chages in your body make the sarifice worth it,my top 2 temptations doublecheeseburger and asians i just limit the cheeseburger to once a month or so

    Are these percentages you guessed... or percentages you got after having your bodyfat percentage tested? (Calipers w/ preference)

    Man I can't wait till my cheat meal, yamatos hibachi chicken plate with shrimp sauce all over that mother.

    Just try not to do it often(every 7 days or so), and if you're not on a strict diet, then get on one. You can never eat consistently clean if you don't know what your next meal is going to be. If you are happy with your body, and have no want for a better one, eat all the crap you want until that changes. Either way, good luck my brother.
