How old are you? At your size you can't realistically jump into some 6k calorie a day diet. However you can work your way into it by concentrating on eating 6-8 times a day which will get your metabolism going. Over time you'll find yourself being able to consume more calories. With a good training regimen and sticking to the diet you'll be able to put on pounds I promise you that. Junior year of high school i was 130 pounds soaking wet. I stuck to it all through college and now im 200 pounds at a size I never thought was possible for my frame.

    I am 18 now.

I find it so hard, even to get a diet correct and on times i should be eating, and the right kind of workout.

I just really need help with a diet plan. when i should be eating. and which exercise i should be doing

Look for a bulking diet in the diet forum. They are all over this board and you can easily piece together different meals that will work for you at your convenience. As far as lifting routines stick to free weights mostly rather than machines. Stick to basic exercises like flat bench, curls, close grip bench, pull ups, dips. Thats what I did when i was your age or younger and with dedication, time, and patience you can hit your goals. I hope i dont sound too much like a motivational speaker haha but i was in your shoes at one time too. And protein shakes are good supplements for when you cant stomach solid food.

How about we address the pink elephant in the room too. You may be, and probably are genetically dispositioned to be very skinny. While eating more and lifting weights may add a few pounds there is a good chance you are a hardcore endomorph and may never achieve the look you posted. I am all about chasing your dreams and reaching goals but you need to be realistic as well and if you are having trouble gaining weight at 126lbs that is not a good sign for getting a muscular build.

That saying is unbelievably true and summed up really succintly FallenWyvern.

For years I used to want the great body, the leaness and muscles without the hard work, and without compromising the foods I like and the lifestyle I had.

Eventually I decided to make some changes in my life for the better and although I'm only starting out and progress is slow and steady, its also highly rewarding and satisfying when you see even modest progress and slight development here or there.

I too have only just joined but my girl must be seriously peed off with the amount of time I spend on here reading.

Thats the best suggestion until your familiar with the concepts and drivers of diet. I know it has been referred to a lot but there is a series of 6 Diet videos by one of the Pro-bodybuilders that sets out the basic concepts and builds on it through each episode. if you've not already seen it, its very useful and well worth it. Even if your understanding of Diet is ok.

    Good luck.

This is why I love this site, You guys are some good ppl. And good advice so far.
To the OP. I would recommend the search function and just type in bulking. You'll get a million results. From that you can at least learn proper meal structure and the kinds of foods you want to be eating. That'll give you a head start as far as putting together the basics of your new diet.

P.S. Glad to see your first posts in the Diet section rather than the Q&A section.

    Best of luck.
