Diet for recovering from gyno surgery.
I am having gyno surgery on just one nipple and I am going to be out of the gym for a while. Usually your are suppose to take off around 4 weeks to heal but I am going to try to get back as soon as possible doing light workouts and cardio anything to keep what i have rite now. I am currently also taking 4ius a day of hgh. How should I eat to help maintian the muscle and strength that i have while recovering?
Thanks in advance!Last edited by bjpennnn; 03-06-2009 at 12:17 AM.

I guess if I were you, I'd keep my protein intake about where it's at pre-surgery. Drop some carbs and some fat out of your diet. The shitty thing is, you're probably going to lose some muscle while your body is recovering. But that's better than training too hard too soon and possibly doing more long term damage.
Plus, when you're back in the game, that muscle will come back fast.
*Disclaimer* Never been in a situation like that so this advice is hypothetical. Bump for more opinions.

Don't worry about it. Ive taken time off before and you get it all back and more. Make sure you aren't hitting the snack line and eat PLENTY OF EGGS
