Ive recently started a 12 week keto diet in prep for this summer. I have a few issues with what has been put together for me. Ive read quite a bit about this type of diet and how/why it works but I cant wrap my mind around this. The person who built my diet for me used it last year in prep for a contest and said will never go back to conventional dieting.
Anyhow, my daily mainteneance is 2800cal approx. This diet puts me at nearly 3900cal a day with 150gr or fat, 500 plus protien and less tahn 40gr of carbs. This person is very insistant that I can still cut weight easily, while preserving muscle mass even at 1000cal over my daily maintenance. This makes me scratch my head a little? Oppinions anyone?? No keto haters please...cheers![]()
