Bulk Chicken Purchases
OK all, I need to be pointed in the right direction. Does anyone have any experience with bulk chicken breast purchases? I am tired of going to Wal Mart, buying the 2.5 pound bags, and then eating the whole thing in a couple of days. Any websites or companies anyone can think of?
I already know where to get bulk egg whites and tuna, but I don't have any experience with where to get chicken breasts. Boneless skinless breasts. Anyone?

Now is that 10 pound bag skinless boneless breasts? I don't wanna clean it up myself, that takes forever. It would have to be a pretty good price for me to do that. I was hoping to buy about 20 pounds at a time. Thanks fellas

Boneless, skinless breast, they're pretty damn big too. That's the best deal I've found.

Usually for bulk purchase of chicken breast, it shouldn't be a problem. Find out from the best company of which you buy your chicken breast and get the contact detail/s from the chosen supplier. But as we know, when you have a bulk fresh chicken purchase order you need to store longer thus probably a bigger freezer.

I eat tuna fish and salmon to break up the routine, but I can't stand freshwater fish and I can't afford a large amount of seafood or beef. We all know how expensive beef is, and I can get way more chicken for the same money, so it makes financial sense for me.

I found a wholesaler nearby who would sell me 40lb boxes of boneless breast for a great price.

Another thing with these juiced up chickens, is the breast, they are huge and can't really cut them when they are frozen. I wish you could just find some that are normal size. I have to buy the tenderloins because they're smaller.

Dont quote me but I think I remember paying in the $1.90-2.50 per lbs range. This was for Southern Grown boneless breast.

So that's comparable to what I paid at Costco, is there a minimum lbs you need to buy?

umm i'm not a rocket scientist or anything, but you don't want to clean them, just want what you get now, but 20lbs instead of 2.5lbs.....
I know how you can get 25lbs of the stuff, EXACTLY the same chicken.
I saw it on unsolved mystery. But you don't have to buy ONE bag of chicken. Walmart will let you buy TEN!!!

Ruhl if you want egg whites go to lanaseggwhites.com. It is 8.5 lbs of egg whites, supposedly 165 liquified egg whites, in a bucket that is shipped right to your door for $45 anywhere in the US. Dont know if you are in the US or not, but that's my hook-up

I'm sure they can, just contact them. I just don't know about orders across an ocean, not to mention I dunno how cold they could keep the egg whites while en route to say, England. They might arrive a little on the gross side lol

At my local meat store a 10 lb bag of chicken is roughly 15 dollars.. 1.50 a pound. it comes skinless but a lot of the times there are small white tendons still on there and it is a bit slimy. so you remove it from their bulk bag, cut it down, clean it and cut the little white stuff off. 20 minutes of your time separated into roughly 1lb bags in the freezer. its great. im going to check out that egg white website as well. i am not sure how theyd keep it cold during delivery though

I think it is about 13g of protein per serving, which is a 1/2 cup of whites. I'm not sure what that equates to as far as how many whites, but I'll tell you I eat these mugs twice a day and I've had this same bucket for a month now. Just ordered a new one
