Hello everyone, I am 5'11'', 250, about 18%bodyfat, I eat very clean consistently, and am trying to get as tight as possible (not for competion, just to get ripped). Anyway, I eat about 3 solid food meals a day, 3 MRP's (Myoplex Deluxe), and will have a scoop of Designer Protein or two before bed. I also take about 35 grams of glutamine a day.
A trainer at my gym, who is also a competitive national level bodybuilder, suggested that i cut out most of the powder out of my diet, maybe limiting my shakes to 2/day at max, replacing the others with solid food. He said all of those shakes will make me retain water. Does anyone know if this is true? I have no reason not to believe him, he seems like he knows what he is talking about. What do you all think?
