    critque my shredding diet/programme

i am trying to get ripped. my bf is around 9-10. trying to get to about 6-7. my body weight is around 206-210 pound range. imn on no juice

i am currnetly clocking up between 40 - 50 miles a week in running (too much but I am to fit for my own good)

also been doing 8x8 training recommended by vince girondo

I have been doing a low carb high protein mod fat diet. Here is a rough lay out of my daily diet:

    breakfast:
3 eggs mixed with strawberry protein powder and vanilla soya milk powder

2nd meal: 50 grams of dry roasted nuts

    3rd meal: two cumberland sausages

4th meal (tea): 4 egg omlette with onions and some mushrooms

5th meal: 2 eggs mixed with strawberry protein powder and vanilla soya milk powder

6th meal: 4 slices of silver side beef with some cheese. also have about 25 grams of nuts

7th meal: strawberry protein powder and vanilla soya milk powder drink

I cannot give acurate information on the calories in this food but my daily intake adds up to somewhere between 1800 -2300 calories. 2 days a week i will buy a 1 kg chicken and most of daily calories come from that

i am losing fat but my energy levels are low (which i expected) and some days i smooth out despite how hard i diet or train. is this from over dieting?

In my opinion it's because you're drinking too much of your daily calories. If you are having good results with the amount of calories you're taking in (I personally think they're too low, what is your height and age?) try to replace some of those shakes with the same macros worth of actual food. Take a day on the weekend and take in twice your usual amount of carbohydrates. Sweet potatoes, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, oats, barley, or Ezekiel bread are some good choices.

I don't know what several of the things are in your diet so your macro breakdown would be helpful, but this is about as good as I can do with the info you've given.

6'3 and 200lbs?? up the protien and carb intake.. unless your comp preping, why would you wanna go below 8%, that's pretty shredded already... you mind posting up a pic??

also seems like your overtraining imo...

thanks mate. i think your right my performance in the weight room and when running has really gone down the longer i have been reducing my carbs

i have found that my weight has gone under 200 pounds since being on the low carb diet.

i don't know if my body fat measures are corrects. i can barely pinch the skin around my body

i want to be as ripped as one of those guys on the front mens health. how much body fat are they

First off, those guys are dehydrated and look that way for 24 hours. They also have good lighting and photoshop.

is the dehydration why they have such sunken cheekbones and sharp jawlines. boxers who have to make a weight limit often have such sharp jawlines

you never see heavyweights like that because they don't have to make weight

Exactly, they basically treat the week prior to their photo shoot like a bodybuilder doing his show preparation.
