What are peoples views on Milk vs Soy milk... I know there are different %'s for the regular milk and all that good stuff, but i'm just trying to see what others views are on drinking soy rather than regular or regular rather than soy

I beleive the protein content in soy might be higher? Also its of course a non lacto vegatarians way of getting some protein and for those who are lactose intolant. I also believe the shelf life is better than cow milk, you'll ahve to check though.

I was just curious because it's a situation where people who drink soy milk defend/promote soy milk and people who drink regular milk don't really say anything... Most people i know that drink soy milk are vegetarians or they claim regular milk makes them break out because of all the hormones in it

There has to be 10x the controversy on soy milk. Especially on what is does/doesn't do to mens estrogen levels. Most of it isn't true or overstated but it more credible than your vegetarian friends claims.

Just google soy milk and you will see all kind of weird stuff on soy milk.

There are plenty of issues with milk. Dairy farming is one of the largest green house gass contributers.

I think soy milk tastes good. For some reason they like to add sweatener (usually brown rice syrup). I get the unsweatened. It tastes like bread.

    You are kidding right?

Grow a pair or something. People on this forum don't care about that kind of stuff.

I recently cut milk out of my diet completely. Even in skim an 8 oz. cup has 12g of sugar in it. If youre naturally very lean or a hard gainer I dont see the issue because 12g of sugar is nothing for someone with good genetics. I am personally cutting at the moment so I'm trying to eliminate all sugar

    Besides PWO DEX YAY!

I have also cut out milk completely. You would be amazed how many people have no idea that skim milk has all that sugar in it. I tell my clients that milk has no place in a weight loss diet.

Milk is low GI and low GL. Sugar on label is posted soley for tooth decay. Lactose sugar is not to be confused with table sugar, corn syrup etc.

    It does a body good.

Fallen is correct there is 5g per 100ml i think in skimmed but tis all good stuff, am on a gallon a day to add weight and it's doin the trick. I do understand it's not the best for cutting tho.
