This goes against conventional wisdom but the leanest I ever got was a show I did in 2001 and I was doing 3-4 Met-Rx meal replacements a day up until 2 weeks before the show.
how did that work as far as fat loss and maintaining muscle?
It worked great! I was doing 4 food meals along with it. I am not suggesting the meal replacements were responsible for my conditioning.
