So food with only fibre and no sugar? Can you give me some examples of foods you don't count? Lettuce? Because even Broccoli and Cauliflower have some sugar in them.

Broccoli, cauliflower, peas, green beans, lettuce, are all things I would not count into my daily totals. I am not saying they dont count but with the fiber content and the amount of work your body has to go through digesting them they really are not going to do you any harm. If someone want to count them I would say fine as long as you adjust your numbers upwards to account for them.

Yes, all the trainers I know and have ever worked with do not count fibrous carbs in their daily totals. If they allot 200 grams of carbs it is going added in from oats, sweet potatoes, yams, brown rice ect. The 20 or so grams of fibrous carbs in a bag of rozen green beans is considered somewhat "calorie neutral" due to the reasons I stated in previous posts. It is because of this most people find it unneccessary to count them in their totals. If for some reason someone wanted to count these I would hope they would bump the carbs up to 225 and keep the original 200 starchy carbs intact.

Short and simple answer, my opinion only, eat all the veggies you want and no need to count them towards your daily allowances of carbs.

So you think there is something to negative calories? A couple of days ago I read an article that states there's no such thing as empty calories....only a cardboard lol!

Well they do contain calories, but the body uses more calories during the degestion process than the foods themselves contain.

    So basically both are true.
