Can you add supplemental fiber to non fibrous carb containing meals and reduce the GI

Since fibrous veggies like broccoli take more energy to digest than they contain, can you get a similar effect from simply adding supplemental fiber to meals?

Why not just add fiber to every non PWO meal ?

Im basically trying to find a way to eat mildly "bad" carbs, and still keep a positive effect on my diet.

Yes, adding fiber will reduce the GI value to a meal.
