What white carbs are the fastest digesting?

Preferibly breakfast.I'm doing 2 days of surge calories with fast digesters in place of my slow digesters and I just want to give my body the total opposite kinds of carbs I've been giving it.I've been using white pastas and white potatos.I'm thinking grits or cream of wheat but cream of wheat is still a slow digester rite "wheat"?

carbohydrates break down to one thing, glucose....

glucose is the energy your body uses to keep alive and go through the day...

there are three types of carbohydrates, simple, semi-simple, and complex...

a simple carb is just that, one glucose molecule..

a semi simple carb is a 3 chained carbohydrate, that means it's three glucose molecules tied together

a complex carb is many glucose molicules

the longer the chain, the more time it takes your body to break the carbohydrate down to a single glucose molecule for your body to use...

simple carbs give your body an insulin spike, leaving any extra energy around to become fat, whether it's pro/carb/fat, it doesn't matter.. anything past what your body needs goes to your gut... this is why simple carbs are only allowed post workout (i actualy use semi-simple carbs, like a white bagel)... your body needs to replenish it's glycogen stores after an intense workout...

one of the faster things would be fruit juice, if you want something more solid you could go with white rice or sushi(yum yum)

probably the easiest way to get a list of things would be to google GI database, then type in the range you want and see what comes up
