Body Fat
How accurate are the scales that u step on, that messure body fat, bones mass, how much water that is in ur body, and bone density? I just got this scale paid a lot for it, and after two weeks, i've lost 5 pds, and my bf went up 3%. I've been working out 6 days a week for the last two weeks. LIfting 4 days out of the week one body part a day. 3 days out of the week i do 20 minutes on the bike, and then 25 on the treadmill. On the days that i don't run on the treadmill i do 30 minutes on the bike. The scale has got to be wrong body fat wise. I feel and look trimmer, the scale is **cking with me.
Has anybody ever used one of these scales?
I'm 30yrs old, 5'9 1/2, and i weigh 220

they ant so accurate.. they use electrical signals to measure bf... i wouldn't trust it..
actually, forget about the scale all together.. see if your pants and shirts are getting bigger on you..
iv lost 3-4% bf in the last 4 weeks and i still weigh the same (i am on cycle though)... but my pants have gotten big on me... great indicator as to whether or not your diet works...

I don't trust them. Friend of mine has one that he uses, beleive he got it at costco and its all over the place. I think in the instruction booklet that comes with it it says accurate to within 3% which is a huge range. Mean after all big difference from someone who is actually 10% and could show up as 7% or even 13% HUGE DIFFERENCE in these two. But just an example.
