I know cottage cheese is popular but I can't do it. What could I put the pb on if its my last meal? I thought an apple (fiber) but maybe no because carbs? I'm using smart balance.
Also, I'd like to avoid the casien shake... I prefer food.

6 ounces of London Broil.........
just eat some chicken or tuna.. really any good source of meat.
you could also drink a tall glass of skim milk since it has casien. the lactose isn't as bad as the listed "sugar" makes it seem.
I've tried and tried to like cottage cheese and I just cant stand it either and would love to know what alternatives there is.
put the pb on whole wheat---i use eziekiel bread--i eat this with 3 eggs 3-4 times a week and have cut 7-8% bf in 8 weeks as long as it fits into your total macros for the day
any source of protein, but i tell ya i do like grilling my chicken then putting some peanut butter on it
some people find it discusting but i like.
ON casein and flax is awesome
Tuna and skim milk FTW! Now what to do with the 8 jars of smart balance sitting in my closet..
put the pb in the ON casein---thats my last meal when i dont eat the eggs and pb toast
I used to hate cottage cheese as well. Sounds crazy but I mixed in a little hot sauce just to give it a little more flavor. Frank's Red Hot to be exact.
I normally have 2 tbs of pb and 40g protein right before bed
Use anything BUT cottage cheese. Why people are so obsessed with cottage cheese is beyond me. Have steak, releases slower than cottage cheese thats for sure and the quality of protein is higher. Combine with some good oils and you are set. No need to have a dairy product before bed with galactose in them. I dont see the point at all in ever having milk or cottage cheese before bed. Well I would personally never have either at any time at all but before bed especially with the sugars.
Why very lean? I would absolutely advise utilizing fats before bed. And chicken isnt horrible advice, regardless of the source of protein, beef, eggs, chicken, turkey I would suggest waking in the middle of the night to supply your body with more amino acids and EFA's.
I almost ALWAYS have eggs before bed, and mainly egg whites at that with some walnut and fish oil and egg whites reach peak levels of amino acids in the blood stream relatively quickly. You do not HAVE to have beef before bed, you need to feed the body every 3-4 hours around the clock not rely on slowly assimilated sources in order to simply let more time pass between meals.
You want growth, you want to stay anabolic? Than you better damn well be feeding you rbody around the clock and not be afraid to eat or have a casein/egg shake in the middle of the night.
