40/40/20 ques
is this just a guideline or should this be carved in stone? The reason why Im asking is after I plugged in all of my numbers Im at 45/35/20 using fitday.
Calories are @2100.
My bmr is 1842.2 x 1.55 = 2855.41 - 500 = 2355.41
Am I in good shape or do I need to get those 255 xtra cals in?
Right now Im 38 5'7 190lbs in a cutting phase

you would need to microcalibrate... pay attention to your weight, if it drops add calories..

agreed, there is no "perfect split", everyones different and NOBODY knows to the calorie what they eat day in and day out, just like we dont know EXACTLY how many cals we expel and how many we have to eat to the calorie.. you wnnna get as close as you can tho..

I would go a step further and say if your "lean mass" drops add calories. Being you are in a cutting phase your weight should be dropping.
