    prewo and postwo nutrition while...

Ok I lift in the mornings 4 days a week. Currently I am up at 4:45, I slam a couple cups of coffee, get to the gym by 505, Lift my ass off and then have a shake at about 6, 25g whey pro, 44 carbs (20 simple, 20 complex), complete my workout at 6:10ish, head home get ready for work and make my post work out meal which is 80 grams carbs and 49 grams protein and 17 grams fat (1 1/2 cups oatmeal, 8 eggwhites, 1 tablespoon of natural peanute butter, also use suger free syrup but i don't count the sugar alcohols) and eat this at about 6:50, then im out the door and to work by 7, I live half mile away.

My question is, with my time contstraint in the morning is this a good whey (haha) to attack my nutrition in the morning? Should i add some oats and honey first thing when i wake up to get some carbs in me or what?

Just another reason why I would never want to do morning workouts. I am worthless til I get at least 2 meals on board. If I were locked into that schedule I would wake up around 4am, slam a quick protein drink then go back to bed for an hour then head to the gym and lift.

i would take some oats and honey.. that sounds liek a decent quick way to get some simple/complex carbs in you while your already in a catabolic state...take that down with some caffeine and workout.. PWO nutrition looks fine, liek the mix

    they are damn good!

and fireguy I agree, but I work as a pool mainatince guy and MWF I work from 7 til 6, on the road all day, then TTH, I work 7-4 at the pool place, then serve tables from 5-9. So i gots to do whats i got to do to get my workout in. And to be honest i don't feel weak or anything in the morning I have been feeling real good, but we will see how my gains go, that will be the true measure.

oh and eat, what do you mean take the pancake down for pwo too? You mean have both the shake and the pwo meal all together? i don't understand

thats what ive been doing, its closer to about 40 min though, an hour would be ideal but i only use 4 egg whites in pancake, so i have to make the other 4on a fry pan and its hard to take cooked egg whites to the shop and eat them at 710. i would get so much shit from the guys i work with, it would never end. Its only the begining of summer I cant be giving the guys ammo on me right off the bat!

just curious as to why you don't eat the yolk since it's one of the best foods ever.

You should try pasturized liquid eggwhites. Google eggwhites international. They come frozen and I eat 24-30/ day.

LOL. wtf? umm obviously because it's high in cholesterol and fat content.

you should only ever eat 2 whole eggs with your 8 egg whites. none if you're cutting.. no whole eggs in general imo

i have been adding one yolk to my mid morning protein pancake, but my dad gave me some info on putting flax seed oil in place of egg yolks, so i am going to start doing that.

and plus i have been eating egg whites for so damn long that they are just as good to me as a regular egg, i don't even really like the yolk cuz its just liquid fat

it's surprising to here everyone talk bad about the yolk. the fat and cholesterol in the yolk is misleading and is good for you. i'm not saying to have all egg all the time but to ignore one of the best natural building foods seems ignorant.
i thought this was common knowledge now.

expensive imo. i did an order one time and made shakes using the liquid egg instead of water. they were good but it was pricier than should be.

If you buy the 4 gallons it's economical. You keep them froZen until you need them. 128 eggwhites will cost you by the carton about $33 and 1 gallon of this stuff will cost $30. So the cost will be the same. There quick and it beats cooking 2 dozen per day. You can't eat real eggs frozen.

You can't miss the company when google it. The chicken on the website looks jiuced.
