Question about Alkalinity vs. Acidity...
So I've read that Cranberries are a very acidic fruit, but the JUICE is alkaline. Any thoughts?
I know cranberries have a huge benefit for females in regards to UTI, etc. On the other hand, there's about 19grams of Vit. C and very few sugars in a glass cranberry juice.
I just made this drink for breakfast. It's 6oz water + 6oz cranberry juice + 1 scoop vanilla whey. Stir it up, tastes so good. Will this turn my piss acidic?

Your piss is always acidic man.
Yes there are acidifying and alkalinyzing foods, but if you are eating a high protein diet cranberry juice is the last of your concerns, ALL meat is acidifying in nature.
Plus just because something is acidic in its chemical composition does not mean it is acidifying to the tissues, for example oranges are actually alkalinyzing and yes cranberry juice is as well.
