what do you guys consume right after workout...
Ive been reading that the body requires immediate sugar source to replenish what was lost during workout, so i do yogurt with strawberries and a cookie broken in half...is this okay you think ?

Just started eating Oatmeal pancakes right when I get home with some sugar free syrup, I'm cutting+a natural endo+and carb sensitive so trying to eliminate sugar.

whey and either waxy maize, dextrose, or white bread. although lately Ive been taking Anabolic Window by nutrabolics and adding 1 scoop of waxy maize so its 30g protein and 78g carbs
45-60 minutes later, chicken breast with brown rice

High Performance Creatine, an hour later I drink a ProV60 protein shake (60 grams) 4 grilled chicken tenderloins (foreman grill, hellya) and 6 eggwhites

I drink eggs for most meals so thought I'd change it up and save a little money

Right now I use
50g waxy
10g BCAA
5g Glutamine
5g Creatine
But I use glucose partitioning agents so this is simply what I am using now.
Otherwise I would be eating either egg whites and sweet potato, or fish and sweet potato directly after my workout.

I always use ALA or chromium directly after my workout with these type of shakes as well.
Maybe 20 min later I will consume some whey protein with some fish oil.
There are just so many ways to do it, depends if you wanna use slin pre or post workout, whether you wanna use whey or not.
But one thing is for sure, I will never use whey+dex or whatever. I always separate my carbs and whey and replace it with free form amino's for better uptake into cells.

This is always my approach. Now I dont always use waxy+BCAA's as I said, sometimes I go for whole food depending on my goals etc.
But yes I always find better results when I consume single beneficial amino's with carbs and then after absorption have a protein source...so 20min later is usually good for me.
This imo is the best approach for optimal absorption. And definitely use the ALA if you have it. Say 300mg.
Chromium in many regards will mimic insulin but, but I think ALA is better for directly PWO.

80-100 grams of carbs from Waxy Maize Starch, and 40-50 grams of protein from Isopure.

i eat what evers for dinner. usually consist of some form of chicken breast, rice, and veggies.
