    Grits vs. White Potatoes

Any vets out there know why Grits are better than W. Potatoes on a bulking diet? I'm new to the idea of Grits in my diet... never even had them before.

A forum member recommended it, here is the thread; 4 Weeks Natural Diet/Workout.

Is that incorrect by chance? It just threw me off when it was said that, 'instant grits' were available - I don't like the idea of instant food so... I'm just wondering the major difference between the two foods and the effect it would have.

    I.E. Higher carbs, etc.

grits are pretty high GI(meaning they cause an insulin spike), which can be harnessed if used properly to give a minute advantage PWO

personally i wouldn't use them though bulking or cooking without a specific purpose

Good recommendation to try for a month then - and see if it has a positive effect or would replacing it with w. potatoes be the smarter move?
