Lactose Intolerance
Whatsup every1??
My mother is lactose intolerant. It has become worse over the years.
Sometimes, depending on the product (milk or yogurt) she can get real bad rashes.
Of course, she would love to continue drinking milk, because she loves milk and its byproducts.
Is there a way, method, or pill that can be taken to avoid this, WHILST injesting dairy?
Of course, I understand that this might be the same as being Diabetic and asking for a way around it.
However, I just want to make sure.
Alternatives I know are one way. For example soy, rice, almond milks.
But she can't eat: pizza, ice cream etc, and she would love to.
Thanks
Tobias

check your local grocery store for a product called lactaid. It replaces the lactose enzyme that helps your body digest dairy products. I'm extremely lactose intolerant myself and this stuff has done wonders for me.

Lactaid as said above works well. I have used it when I couldn't hold down milk products and it worked great. Not sure if it would help with lactose causing rashes though.
