    where do you get the calories from

    i started my bulking diet im eating loads of pasta chicken fish brown rice boiled eggs but none of them have much calories lots of protien and carbs
    also i eat friut

    im trying to eat 3000calories a day but finding it hard

    brown rice 300 cal
    pasta 320 cal
    macckerel 212cal
    tuna 130 cal
    chicken fillets ???
    egg whits ???

    *sighs and drops forehead onto hand*

    If your on a 40/40/20 split your macros will look like this. 300 p 300 c 70 f

    At minimum 6 meals a day. 50g protein in each. 60g carbs in first 5 meals including PWO. 35g fat in the last 2. 7 meals would be a bit easier.

    That's a simple approach to it. Calories are determined by how much protein, carbs and fats a food has. For 1 gram of protein or carbohydrate = 4 calories and 1 gram of fat = 9 calories.

    Post up your diet if you want to get it on track.
