    No Carb Day??

im just wondering would having a no carb day once a week be beneficial to burning fat??

this is not my training split but im thinking of doing it next time i change my routine...

Cardio a.m 45 mins... after weights 20-30mins.. no cardio leg day...Wednesday Cardio a.m only..

    Mon-Chest
    Tue-Back
    Wed-Rest
    Thur-Shoulders
    Fri-Arms
    Sat-Legs
    Sun-Rest

so wolud it be beneficial to have a no carb day on a wednesday? and even maybe on a sunday?

    thanks, all answers appreciated...

I wouldn't do a no carb day but you could go with a low carb day 50-100g of carbs on this rest day. Maybe have 50g of carbs with breakfast and then only fiberous carbs (broc, spinach) with your other meals. If you go this route I would follow up with a carb-up/refeed day the next day.

normal day i have brown rice or sweet potatoe with my main meals... so would i count that as a carb up? do you think doing 2 days low carb is better than 1?

    Thanks

well, you should be lowering your carbs on days that you dont workout regardless to bring your self to your seditary maintinance level.. you obviously need less calories on wednsday.. id need details as to how many carbs you eat on workout days to tell u how many to eat on off days..

as for sunday, do the complete opposite of what your thinking of doing... refeed..

    eat away on sunday, cheat!!!

these will replenish your leptin levels and get your fat burning metabolism back in gear...

    lower your carbs.

and have refeed day once a week.

like jamy said it would be good if we can see the diet plan and we can more accurate judge of it with numbers..
