Is a defeed recommended on a bulk like a refeed while cutting?

If you're bulking and eating over maintenance day in and day out is it a good idea to drop calories below maintenance one day a week - a defeed if you will - to avoid stagnation, or would this just result in more adipose accumulation once calories are upped again?

Just eat man, people get way to damn nutty with diets thinking that one day makes any damn bit of difference in putting on muscle or losing it. About the only thing you can effect day to day is water weight everything else is a matter of accumulation.

not really, though you could drop calories on rest days as you won't need the extras as much

start carb cycling if you want to keep from gaining too much fat during bulking
