    Protein Intake

Ok............ weve all heard about how much protein we should be taking in each day to grow. some say 1.5 grams per pound of muscle and some say 2 grams

Now my ? is what weight number do we use:

A guy weights 200lbs with 10% BF. So he has 20lbs of fat Right? So one would say use 180 as a mass weight, but what about bones.

So which weight do we use?

Lean muscle weight, or lean body weight?

You use lean body weigth, but i think that for this guy 360 g pro are not enough to bulk, if he uses the 40 40 20 split. It's better see results than numbers.

2 g per body weight is over kill and EXPENSIVE. I've been growing on 1-1.2 grams of protein per day. Just keeping carbs around 300 and eating fats, which gives me almost a 30p-40c-30f, and not been putting on much fat. I started out with the 40-40-20 split and i was going broke so i droped the protein down and im still gaining, just at a lower price tag

anyhwere between 1-1.5 is good IMO.. 2g is overkill as already stated since there isnt scientific data to support that BB need more protein than any other person
