Carbs
I'm taking 120mg of Test prop and 100mg of Masteron EOD and my diet consists of eggs, chicken, tuna and usually steak. I take 1 protein drink right after my work out and was curious about carbs. I have 1 piece of toast in the morning with my eggs and was wondering if I should increase that or is that fine. I know you need alot of protein while on a cycle but never really gave much thought to carbs. Do you need more than 1 piece of bread a day for carbs?

181lbs
Around 10%BF
I play hockey 2 times a week and consider that my cardio. I'd like to gain mass but keep a cut body. Being on the Masteron, I can acheive this but don't want to ruin my diet on overdoing on carbs.

up the carbs my friend. Stick too the brown rice, ezekial bread, oatmeal. when i bulk i usually do about 350g-450g carbs a day. You dont need that much but maybe 20-30g a meal for you. 30g is a 1/4 cup of rice.Carbs are a necesity in your game plan trust me.

what are your goals?
tryin to gain or lose weight
if tryin to lose then keep carbs to a minimum
if tryin to gain... then eat a shit load of carbs
(good carbs)

its good too have carbs even a little so your body doesnt use the protien for energy. espeacially if he wants some mass like he said. plus the masteron will kick in nicely!

when im lean bulking i do either 1 of 2 things
only have carbs when i wake up. and PWO. (sometimes pre workout if im feeling weak)
or have all the (healthy) carbs i like... but do a shit load of cardio
lol

If you are looking for a quality physique you should ALWAYS been lean bulking.
I get in more carbs than protein while I lean bulk but place my calories about 500-700 above my maintenance in order to keep the fat gain to a minimum and a bare minimum at that.
If you are dirty bulking you are eating anything and everything in sight with little regards to the amount you take in. Pizza, fried chicken, ice cream etc
Look carbs are not the enemy. They are your bodies primary source of energy and without them what do you think your body will use for energy, more than likely what it should be using to build, protein.
This is where skinny or leaner guys make the mistake, trying not to get fat by believing carbs are the main problem when in fact it is just the organization of a diet that is suitable to there body and training program.
Your carb choices are what you need to be worrying about along with food choices all together. You eat a bunch of shit like going to McDonalds etc well guess what you're going to look like shit.
You have a carefully planned diet, along with a intense training program then the less you have to worry about getting fat.
List your diet in detail with the macros and calories

id add in some EFA's (flaxseed oil) and up the carbs a little. a peice of bread is not enough mate. your body will be running off protein and in a catabolic state. carbs are the mortar to your protein building blocks in the muscle.

Go check out Nark's thread on Performance Nutrition and base your intake by using the Katch McArdle which is on page 1 on down a bit and it will base your intake based upon your lean body mass. We are all after lean body mass, not over all weight, that is irrelevant, fluctuations in water sodium etc can impact weight loss or gain. Hell I gained back 10lbs in 24 hours the day after my contest prep, was that muscle??? Definitely not.

I switch between sweet and regular every week to break up eating the same foods. I also work pasta in every other week also, not letting my body adapt to so many carbs but giving it enough to grow with no problems. My down fall is I have to use regular milk with my oats, I cant eat them any other way.

Just bought a big bag of regular yesterday in fact instead of sweet potatoes.
And I also do the pasta thing as well just to mix it up in the offseason and make something tasty even though I calculate it out. Along with my brown rice, oats, ezekiel bread etc.
And I'm with you on the milk thing I know C-Bino can come through and blast me how shitty milk really is but there is NOTHING like a cold glass of milk on the occasion.... offseason that this.
