Post workout and sometimes pre. In other meals take your pro from solid food.

whey is nice, but i prefer an isolate or a blend. foods your main pritority. so take from foodutilize chicken and beef at differnt times in the day for maximum nitrogen balance.
um i normally take my whey protein right before a workout just because i dont have time to eat some food. sometimes i might eat a precook chicken breast and whey after the workout. but food over any supplement any day. taste better to.
its good because it's light and digests quickly and is extremely convenient. It's not essential though
Whey aren't more convenient than solid food imo

protein in general is excellent for anyone who exercises, and actually just everyone period. But... liquid protein is just about the worst protein you can find. imo
