    Sodium???

Why do I hear people complain about Sodium??

I googled it, and it said Sodium causes water retention. But as I kept reading it said, as long as you have a high intake of water, it will help filter it and not cause water retention... HUH???

Does a low sodium diet, help uncover those abs??

What's the deal men and of course those gals out there

Sodium is by far one of those most misunderstood elements of diet out there. People avoid it like the plague when it has several beneficial applications especially when used in moderation or for water depleting purposes.

Sodium plays a vital role in your muscles ability to contract. Avoiding dietary sodium combined with weight training and cardio or other things that cause excessive sweating can lead to an sodium imbalance.

If you have blood pressure issues or water retention problems you want to keep it in check but it's not the devil it's made out to be. Sodium manipulation is just as good if not better in my opinion as carb loading/water depleting in achieving a full dry look come contest time for bodybuilders as well.

I used to eat my food completely plain until i heard about using sea salt. Its basically 100% sodium but I haven't noticed any bad side effects. I've stayed just as lean and actually gained more muscle.
