Ok so I bought 5 gallons of PASTEURIZED EGG WHITES today... The PLAN...
DRINK THEM IN A MORNING SHAKE WITH (Approx 16 Fl OZ.), 1 CUP OF OATS, 2 SCOOPS CHOCOLATE WHEY... Now that is the plan, because for the next 20 days I will not be able to cook my EGGS.
So that being said, am I going to be able to squeeze the bio-availability of the protein out of these egg whites to make them worth while guzzling??
Some have said 50% will digest and give me that much of the protein from them, then someone else said 75% and someone even said 95%...
WHICH ONE IS IT??
I really need to know before drinking this thing in the morning if it is worth my time or if I just BLEW 50 bucks out the window....
My Typical breakfast usually consisted of
10egg whites cooked from whole eggs...
1/2 cup of Oats
1 scoop whey
1/2 Bagel
2 tbsp's Peanut Butter.
So Roughly My Breakfast WAS : 950Cals - 95gPro/65Carb/25Fat
Great Breakfast for MY BULKING DIET...
Now with the Transition depending on the Bio-A of THE EGG WHITES...
I am looking at 800 cals- 100gPro/55Carb/10Fat
A LEANER BREAKFAST !!!! IF THIS WORKS !!! IF!!! Then this could be what I am shooting for OVERALL !!!
Oh just so you know, My Maint. Cal intake is 3720cals, IM BULKING... Add 750cals (500cals compensate for the total of 1lb weight gain +250 on the UNWANTED CALORIC BURN IN ROUTE TO GYM DUE TO MODE OF TRANSPORTATION BEING BICYCLE) =
4570 CALORIES PER DAY... 6 MEALS = 800 Cals PER MEAL !!! IT ALL WORKS !!!
So please.. please TELL ME THE BIOAVAILABILITY OF MY EGG WHITES IS BETWEEN 90-95% and NOT 50%
