please critic my keto i've lost 32lbs so far
hey every1 i've lost 32lbs so far and im looking to lose anopther 20 or atleast put on some muscle. I'm considering taking a cycle to help with the muscle gains and lose weight (sust250 or prop/ winni) this is my diet
im 6'2" 203 12%body fat
meal1-cal-tfat-crbs-prtn
4 eggs 200-18-4-24
4slices bacon 60-1.5-1-10
multivitiamin
meal2-
2 chiken filtes- 220-3-0-46
1 string cheese 80-6-1-6
meal3-
16oz ground beef- 1160-88-0-84
b12, fish oil, flax seed, scivation xtend shake
meal4
1 fish filtes- 90-1-0-20
1cp brochuli 25-0-4-2
scivation shake again, and 10g creatine
meal 5
salad
chiken bites- 90-1-1-19
1/2 cucumber 17-.2-3-1
total 1,925 cal- 102 tfat-11 carbs- 211g protein

Are you doing reffed days?
In a keto i would keep anyway 30g carbs from veggies.
You should give cals and macros also for shakes and flax seed.
I think also that 300g pro for your size would be good.

by last meat you mean the fish?
you think 300g or test prop or sust250? I'm not trying to bulk just wanting to lean out
my bmr is 2111.8
66+ (13.7*wt in kg) + (5*ht in cm) - (6.8*age in yrs)
i think my tdee is 2772

I think 300 grams protien was the recomendation above, and changing those chicken bites to lean beef. How long did it take you to drop the 32 lbs?
As for a cycle, wait till you hit your ideal weight, go back on a normal diet, and then decide what you may want to add in.

thats probably the best because then i would be able to be at my max and eating enough to have sufficient gains. It took me 2 1/2 weeks to lose 32 lbs
jamy what should i eat though i didnt want to go over 2200 cal max is lb of 80/20 not lean? and the chiken bites are just like chiken nuggets for salad so its like a chiken saladLast edited by boxing750; 09-21-2009 at 06:07 PM.

i tried keto a few years ago, but it my breath smelled like dog poo, yuck. wasn't worth it for me.

Please just remember your breathe will smell like dog shit. And there is nothing you can do about it. No gum, brushing, flossing, mouthwash will help at all. Take that into consideration before starting a keto diet. However, if you dont care that your breath will smell like dog shit, then start tomorrow!

I keep saying, because i want to want everyone about one of the most biggest side effects from a Keto diet.
I hate bad breathe, it's disgusting. I think keto breathe is the worst, but if you must lose weight, and you don't want to do a balanced diet and cardio, then you can do a Keto diet, but there are always sides with the easier way out.
I feel compelled to inform people about the sweet, gross, nasty breath that comes with being in a ketogenic state. It's only fair.
No gum, brushing, mouthwash, flossing, will help whatsoever.
The "keto breathe" is a side effect from having the fat in your body being used as a main energy source.
google "keto breath" for more information. I only speak from personal experience.

"keto breath" is due to ketosis not using fat as energy source.
you may have tried a Skd if you had these problems.
You can try a Ckd to avoid a long ketosis and use fat as energy source.

ya i really did lose 32lbs in 17 days now im slowly droping and trying to lose another 20 or lean out. Ya i had thought of upping my protein with a shake but alot of them have carbs so im trying to watch out with which one i choose also read there others that are real high in sugar? I dont have keto breathe i've actually been kissing more girls now that i go out on weekends, i dont drink so i just chill
any way when you say more lean meat to get my protein up should i switch to 90/10 beef? I bought 10lbs of chicken yesturday it was on sale $1 lb again

I lift weights usually takes 1-1 1/2 not real intense but im not playing around in there just concentrating on putn weight up, and then i do my boxing workout usually last 1 1/2 hrs somtimes a lil hrs depending the intensity. Yes this diet saved me because i was use to wearing shorts cuz my pants didnt button but now they do and they feel a lil loose lol

After talking with a friend of mine, I totally believe you. She is a PT and had good things to say about keto, with a few suggestions. She suggested the CKD and said if done right, I could easily lose 10 to 14 lbs a week. Started my keto the day after she told me that, just a few days in right now and already feel less hungry while eating less.

if you lost 32lbs in 17 days then im sure your body is in starvation mode.. if i set u up on a diet revolving around your tdee, you'll gain weight initially.. so we have to move forward slowly.. adding 200 calories every 5 days... u ok with that?
