    Post Ideal breakfast?

OK been doing alot of researching and come across theories for the best breakfast. Now one theory is that your first meal should be a protein shake since this digests fast and gives your body the much needed protein after the nights fast, in this case the "sooner the better" applies. This is in conjunction with oats/grits etc with a low GI to start your day.

Or would having a source of protein from real food like whole eggss be better, we all know that it would digest slower, but is it necessarily better to digest slower at the point in time in the day?

well ideally you would like to save your shake after training.

It would be better to stick to whole food, also it does depend on your goal.
