    Atkins Diet?

Hey, I'm going to embark on a high-protein diet, which basically means limiting carbs to no more than 20g a day!

I was hoping for those of you who have been on this diet, if you could share your experiences, pointers, words of advice, it'l be greatly appreciated!

Also, I've read that most of the weight loss only occurs in the first 2 weeks, and this is mainly due to water being lost!
After, the initial 2 weeks, weight loss is slow!
    Is this true!

To help me I'm going to be weight training 3 times a week, and doing cardio sessions 3 or maybe more times a week.

Im also considering runinng clen /ECA/T3 alongside this diet which will help accelerate the fat loss.
Have any of you tried this before?
I have done plenty of research on clen/ECA/T3 before all you critiques start.

I weigh 11 stones, 122 pounds and bodyfat is 16%.
I want to lose a stone in fat.

I've tried the balanced diet or just restricitng calories approach, but that didn't do the trick either.

    SO PLEASE EVERYBODY HELP ME

Wait, you weigh 122 lbs and you want to lose weight ????

If you're looking to just cut some bodyfat, then you're going about it the wrong way.

a proper diet (not this Atkins shit) along with weight training will help you to lose a lot of that.

I've tried loads of other diets and have followed them religiously.
However, the results failed to materialise.

Therefore, theres nothing wrong with giving this diet a go

was thinking the same thing earlier, but it can't be, cause it would have showed up as Female Member, not Junior Member......unless of course this person just registered wrong.

122 pounds (not kilos?) and bodyfat is 16%? R you sure? How tall are you? That is about 100lbs of total lean weight. Do you have a skelatal system? I am not flaming you here - I just don't see how this is correct... and you say your overweight. Do you have a picture?

If all is correct - what you need to do is build some fat burning muscle. Cutting at 122lbs would be very hard. Get up to at least 170 - then if you want to cut, do it then...

I look at diets with the big picture in mind.

There are sometimes that atkins or keto diets are the way to go.
But you must remember that no where do the creators of those diets talk about zero carbs forever.

For me, i like to start with atkins to get the ball rolling, then i raise my carbs slightly after induction so i dont run the risk of burning muscle (also so i dont feel like a zombie all the time)

then i go with a smart diet, I get out my calculator, food breakdown list and a notepad and i design my diet with my protien, carbs and calorie goals.

Really teach yourself to plan a diet, and weigh your food! If you learn what your doing, you can lose that weight and keep it off.

Also give it some time, changing diets every week can do more damage than good. Drink your water, take your eca and work your butt off and you will get what you came for!

Now if i could just stop doing cardio, but sadly my body must have it 5 days a week or its gonna be stubborn heh

You sre right! My buddha bless you my child!

I dont plan to go on zero carbs forever mate, thats impossible.

I dont think anyone can do that!

Well, In my first 2 weeks, Il limit my carb intake to 20g a day!

After that I might raise my carbs a bit!

It will all depend on how much I lose, how i look etc!

After that I can alter my diet a bit!

Im sure, the Clen /ECA/T3 will help immensely!

If you take T3 - you might evaporate. Make sure you have regular doctor visits. Stay healthy...

What kind of training fo you do and what does your diet look like?
You might be training/doing cardio too much and not eating enough.
This will cause your body to hold onto fat.

When I met my wife she was about 92 lbs and she's about 5'5" and was anorexic(spelling). Let me tell ya it looked like I was dating a zombie....thank god I got her eating right and she upped to 105 and looked good ( I say this in past tense because she's put on alot of weight being pregnant and all). I'm just trying to get a visual on this....I'm just gonna leave this one alone........best of luck to ya.
