    How many carb types?

I know, in regards to protein, the general rules are to get as many sources as possible to avoid food allergy. Is this also true for carbs? Would it be ok to utilize 2 carbs only for a month or more? Sweet potatoes and oats would be my two.

I also eat Lentils, Black beans, Quinoa, and occasionally brown rice. If Yams are in season those too.

I just find it easier to eat sweet potatoes and oats for the majority of my meals. I am eating a bulk caloric intake as well. Any thoughts?

Just like everything variety is best, but in no means a must ive always switched between sweet potatoes, brown rice, kidney beans, oatmeal, and rice cakes. But for the majority of the time I,like you, have used sweet pot. and oats as my gasoline services. Switch when you can but dont lose sleep over this!!
