    retaining water

    Hey guys are there any visual signs your retaining water, started drinking a gallon or more water 3 days ago from drinking maybe a litre a day and my midsection looks a little weird. Im about 7% bf so i can def tell a difference. havent gained any on the scale really so i dont know. also statred eating 3000 clean cals bout a week ago from prob 22-2300 but like i said no real weight gain. thanks

    also added milk twice a day to oats which i didnt have for 6 mo---just looks like i got some fat around belly button all the sudden--idk

    Have you been eating pretty much zero dairy for the past 6 months until the recent milk w/ your oats?

    pretty much--occasionallly a piece of fat-free cheese 1-2 times a week

    I know that I experienced pretty severe bloating/gas when I reincorporated milk into my diet w/ shakes/oats. I have once again removed it but the side-effects subsided after a week.

    just kind of soft looking in my abs from what i was used too--been cutting since feb 09 just started to try and bulk at the 3000 cals for the last 3-4 days plus drinking alot more water---kind of makes me want to go back to maintenance cals which ended up being the 2100 cals even though they were cutting cals to start off with. Really wanted to put on 10lb of muscle though--I know,I know, that will take prob about 8 mo so I should try this for 2-3 weeks and see what happens,, right? just really wanted to see if there was a way of telling if I was holdin water or bloated in the stomach. maybe Ill cut the milk--it was just an easy way to get the extra 200 cals I was having a hard time getting. I thought it was hard to eat the 2100--really really hard for me to eat the 3-3100 all clean.

    a week after u removed it or a week into drinking it?

    yea i got bad gas last 3-4 days too--maybe it is the damn milk

    Are you eating 900 kals over your tdee? I hope not.

    well i cut so long at 2100 that im figuring thats my maint cals now seeing how last 2 mo i havent lost any weight, so yea i am--no good---stats are 5 10 33yr old 154lb 6-7%bf

    If 2100 are your mantaining kals start eating 2400-500 kals till your metabolism becomes faster.

    all calculators ive done say i need 3000-3800 cals to gain. guess they dont consider someone may have just got done cutting?

    Forget calculators. If you're mantaining weight with 2100 kals, that's your tdee at the moment

    alright----u really think 2400-2500 is enough though? dont wanna bulk for 2 years--can take fat off really easy.
