    What to eat?

How much carbs to eat daily? I want to loose this gut, I know carbs are needed to work out, but percentage wise, how much should one eat to loose the fat, but have enough energy to build muscle?

x2 here. Also you need to know your macros. Most people try to come close to the 40/40/20 split. Cardio is a big part too. Low intensity for 45 min keeping your hr in the target hr zone.....

Or do HIIT cardio. I like to do both. Change things up. Like 2 mins high intensity one minute low. Or 1 min high 30 secs low or rest.

age 42, weight 185, height 5'8', not sure on the body fat, I think around 23%. I've been doing 3mile run at 5 mpr. three times per week. Not seeing body weight go down though. Thanks for the help.

Hmm...I was told to ingest 1 to 1.5 grams of carbs per pound of lean body mass. I used to ingest more, but now im seeing more significant fat loss.

As far as cardio goes you want to stay at 65% of max heart rate for 30 to 45 mins. I've also been doing plyometrics with my cardio as well. Try it out.
