Bulk or Cut first - what makes more sense?

Hi all, I've been stuck in this mental 'limbo' for a while now and need to make a decision, because right now i'm flipping back and forth every week and defeating my own purpose. My stats:

    34 yrs old
    5'11
    192 lbs
BF% - somewhere around 18%-20% (check the pics attached)

I obviously have plenty of bodyfat to lose. However, I am also starting to grow tired of this 'transitional' look that I feel like I have - 1/3 fat, 1/3 skinny, 1/3 'he might work out'. I need to get to the next level, specifically with adding lean mass.

So the question is, what is more efficient and/or what makes more sense - to continue on my low calorie diet (approx. 2100/day, I can post the diet if you wish) to facilitate fat loss, or jump it up to around 3000/day to promote growth? I obviously can't do both at the same time, i've been doing that for a year and I think i've taken it as far as I can. Let me know what you think!

The link I posted above I think will answer all of your questions. Its Milos Sarcevs " Secret of the Pros" on Nutrition, He debunks alot of stupidity in the nutrition game and offers a wealth of knowledge on what is need to look your best. Whether you want to lose weight, bulk or just want a diet to follow.

Have a pen and pad ready to take note so you dont miss anything. If you have a hour plus of free time I would give this video a watch.

id cut first.....because if you bulk and you dont do it correct youl be gaining fat aswell as muscle, and i think itll be harder to gauge results, and overall your main goal is to lose BF, so do that first. then when you get to the BF you want, try a clean bulk..just my opinion.

i think cutting or bulking is easier or harder depending on the person.....being an endomorph i find cutting hard but an ectomorph will prob find bulking hard.

strip off the fat, check your base out and eat according to what muscle mass you do have and start the process of growth .

Amen! What is with all the bulk/cut discussion lately. With a few exceptions here and there just about everyone should be focused on slowly adding some muscle while keeping bodyfat at a minimum.
