    Quinoa?

I've never had it, but read that it's a complete protein source, and a high fiber complex carb grain. Does anybody here have experience with it? Is the taste decent? I would love to use this instead of the beans i've been using which are incomplete protein.

It's incredibly healthy and yes, it is a complete protein. The taste is very foreign. Similar to lentils crossbred with couscous. In terms of texture, it's not like anything else I can think of off the top of my head. I like to simmer it w/ chicken stock and herbs, just like couscous and pour seasoned meat/veg/sauce over it. Think beef stew or something.

Thanks guys, I can't wait to try and expirment with it!

@MG - what's up bro!! It's going ok I guess - this is week 3 and i'm starting to notice a slight change, and weight on the scale has started to drop. However, I do feel weaker in the gym; i'm hoping that's due to the lower carbs and NOT to muscle loss. I had to drop from 2000 cal/day to about 1850 as I wasn't seeing any difference whatsoever after 2 weeks. I'm planning on posting pics after 1 month... i'm still keeping the dream alive bro, I want your abs! =)

It takes a few months depending on how much cardio you're doing. As long as you stay vigilant, you'll look in the mirror one day soon and be like, "damn, I'm there".
