One tablespoon of table sugar or sucrose contains 46 calories, while one tablespoon of natural sweetener honey has 64 calories. Though honey may have more calories, we actually need to use less of it since it is sweeter than table sugar. As a result, you may in fact consume even less amount of calories that you would with sugar

    regular sugar contains no fat!

its not about fat, sugar is refined honey is natural.

thats why alot of people say honey is better than sugar

what do you want to sweatin?

Is it really necessary to use a full tablespoon?

Honey is definately the better choice if nothing else due to its low glycemic index. I believe it's in the 50's with some brands even lower than that.

Kinda ironic that I write this as I am eating egg whites with crab meat mixed in with two pieces of Ezekial Bread with a bit of spray butter and honey.

The kind of honey i like doesnt come from a bee, and she said it had protein in it. LOL i use 1tble spoon of honey on my waffles. and sumtimes in fruit salads instead of fat free dressing it takes less to sweetn. but if u do and u have allergies whenever in your climate, use local honey becuse it has all the pollin from endigounus plant in and around your area it helps releive alergy some alergy symptoms. crap i forgot how to spell. shit!!
