One tablespoon of table sugar or sucrose contains 46 calories, while one tablespoon of natural sweetener honey has 64 calories. Though honey may have more calories, we actually need to use less of it since it is sweeter than table sugar. As a result, you may in fact consume even less amount of calories that you would with sugar
true but honey contains no fat, yes?
regular sugar contains no fat!
its not about fat, sugar is refined honey is natural.
thats why alot of people say honey is better than sugar
what do you want to sweatin?
Is it really necessary to use a full tablespoon?
I not saying that there is fat in honey either if there is any smart asses thinking thats what i meant...
Honey is definately the better choice if nothing else due to its low glycemic index. I believe it's in the 50's with some brands even lower than that.
I wouldnt go replacing my brown rice with it... Its still a simple carb

The kind of honey i like doesnt come from a bee, and she said it had protein in it.
