    High Fat Days in place of "cheat days"?

    OK SO in place of a cheat day I have had half a jar of peanut butter in the past 24 hours or so...my body was extremely sore and it is not so sore now and i have also stayed hydrated, i am using these excess calories in conjunction with good protein intake (not high, but moderate) and have not exercised whilst on this quest,, going to lift biceps again and see what it do...

    my advice, if your not training for a competition have a cheat meal instead!! You only live once, and 1 or 2 cheats/wk wont kill ya

    Yeah, cheat meals actually help you. Shock your metabolism and keep you on course. Trainers I've spoken to say those training when prepping for a contest and just cutting run into trouble down the road closer to their comp as they're too OCD to have cheat meals and your metabolism will get run down.

    I cheat 3 times a week when massing, once a week when cutting..
